LEED Project Evaluation & Green Building Technologies

Because the Custom page is generic in format, I can customize the subheadings and text below to fit any purpose and any subject.

Energy & Environmental Design Green Building Rating

In support of sustainable design, we provide full service evaluation of existing facilities to determine what your needs are to provide for desired green technology.

This may be with a renovation or addition which includes and adapt environmental concepts for heating, cooling and recycling or at a minimun with finish materials which limit emmisions from the manufacturing process or are 100% natural in form.

Green Roofing Technologies

Consider a greeon roofing system to reduce your heat island effect, reduce opperational heating and cooling costs and improve the environment through Carbon reduction and O2 regeneration.

Energy Saving and Opperational cost reduction

In consideration of your requiremtns to reduce opperational cost, we will architect a building which increases efficiency and reduces waste.

This is achieved through intelligent use of materials and systems which conserve energy, limit heat distribution and maintain coolness throughout spaces.

Increase recreational use on your roof!

If you lack sufficient recreational, patio or plaza space of a roof top garden may resolve this program requirement.

Your roof area may be configured and designed to enhance your recreational needs and provide the benefit of open space above the ground floor plane!

Water harvesting and green growth technologies

Consider designing water harvesting technologies within your building and landscape design to reduce water consumption.

Provide for systems which are adequate to withstand your buildings life-cycle and not interfere with your building envelope.   Also consider that green roofs can reduce the surface temperature of a roof by minimizing heat absorbing surfaces, a gree roof helps to reduce energy consumption as well.  For example, on a 90 degree day, while the surface of a traditional roof surface is 160 degrees, a typical green roofing surface will be only 95 degrees.

Sustainable Construction Oversight

Adapting your project and designing for sustainable use is the first aspect of green architecture.  The second and most important aspect is understanding the systems and components which will be utilized within the building design.  In addition to the design and specification understanding required, implementing oversight, inspections and monitoring during the development process is critical.

It is important for our clients to understand this philosophy, as these new concepts and processes are rarely understood withough the guideance of the architect and his design / build competantance.
